What kind of clients does Idora Law Studio work with?

Idora Law Studio works with small business owners in Arizona and Colorado. Our clients include solo founders, partnerships, family-owned businesses, and growing companies. We focus on contracts, buying and selling businesses, and employment and independent contractor matters. We also cover general and ongoing legal support for our business clients.

Do you serve clients in both Arizona and Colorado?

Yes. MJ Vuinovich is licensed to practice law in both Arizona and Colorado. Idora Law Studio represents small businesses in both states, including Phoenix, Tucson, Flagstaff, Denver, Boulder, and ColoradoSprings.

Do you speak Spanish?

Yes. MJ Vuinovich speaks fluent English and Spanish, and Idora Law Studio provides legal services in either language. Contracts, consultations, negotiations, and follow-up communication can all happen inthe language you are most comfortable using.

How does Idora Law Studio work?

Idora Law Studio is a solo law practice. When you hire the firm, you work directly with MJ Vuinovich on every matter. The firm uses flat fees for many projects so the cost is known up front, and offers hourlyestimates or monthly subscription arrangements for clients with ongoing legal needs. The goal is personalized service with predictable pricing.

Can I just use LegalZoom, Rocket Lawyer, or an AI tool instead of hiring a lawyer?

Online platforms and AI tools can be useful for very simple, low-stakes tasks like generating a basic template. They do not provide legal advice, they do not represent you in negotiations, and they cannotbe held professionally accountable for the results. When you hire Idora Law Studio, you work with a licensed Arizona and Colorado attorney who carries professional liability insurance and is responsible for the legal advice you receive. For contracts, business sales, and employment matters, that distinctionoften matters.

How much do your services cost?

It depends on the matter. For many projects, Idora Law Studio offers flat fees so the cost is known before any work begins. For ongoing legal needs, the firm offers monthly subscriptions (sometimescalled outside general counsel) for predictable access to legal advice. Some matters are billed hourly when the scope cannot be predicted in advance. Pricing is discussed during your initial consultationbefore any engagement.

Do you offer free consultations?

Idora Law Studio offers a paid initial consultation at a flat fee. The consultation is a working meeting where MJ reviews your situation with you so you can decide whether or not you decide to engage thefirm afterward. If you do hire the firm, the engagement letter will explain how the consultation fee fits into the overall scope.

What types of legal services do you offer?

Idora Law Studio focuses on three core areas:
(1) contracts, such as drafting, reviewing, and negotiating;
(2) buying and selling small businesses; and
(3) employment and independent contractor matters.

The firm also handles operating and partnership agreements, business dissolution, partnership disputes, and ongoing business counsel. If a matter is outside the firm's focus, MJ will say so directly and refer you elsewhere when possible.

Im just starting my business. Do I really need a lawyer?

It depends on your situation. Filing an LLC online is straightforward. The questions that often benefit from legal input come after. For example, partnership terms, contracts with customers and vendors,ownership structure, what happens if a partner leaves, and how workers are classified. Issues in these areas can be expensive to address later. A short initial consultation can help you identify which decisions need legal input now and which can wait.

After theconsultation, if it makes sense to work together, MJ will send a written engagement letter explaining thescope and fees before any work begins.

Do you handle litigation or court cases?

Idora Law Studio focuses on transactional and counseling work — contracts, deals, employment matters, and business decisions — and does not handle most courtroom litigation. If you have a disputethat may end up in court, MJ can evaluate it and either help you address it before litigation or refer you to a litigator and remain involved as your business counsel.

Is what I tell you confidential?

Once you engage Idora Law Studio as a client, your communications with the firm are subject to the rules of attorney-client confidentiality and, where applicable, attorney-client privilege under Arizona and Colorado law. Information shared during a confidential initial consultation is generally treated as confidential under the same rules. MJ does not share client information with anyone outside the firm without your permission, except as required or permitted by law and the rules of professional conduct. Be mindful that no attorney-client relationship exists unless and until you have engaged with the firm as a client.
